Samantha specialises in both contentious and non contentious aspects of employment law and has assisted clients both in the private and public sectors with a broad range of employment law issues including disciplinary and grievance procedures, sickness and absence management, redundancy, terminations, employment disputes, discrimination issues, TUPE and high level management issues.
She is practised in drafting and reviewing contracts of employment and company policies and procedures. She also has experience in preparing cases for tribunal hearings including drafting tribunal responses, advising on strategy and taking witness statements as well as negotiating commercially prudent settlements and settlement agreements where appropriate.
Samantha also acts for many international clients and has experience coordinating and advising upon multi-jurisdictional projects including international restructures and policy reviews.
She is a member of the Education Sector team and regularly advises higher education clients on all aspects of employment law.
Samantha regularly delivers training on current employment law developments to clients from both the public and private sectors.
